Sometimes, when I look back at this blog and all the things I've purged, it's felt like the time has gone really fast. Then, there are days like today when I realize I am only HALFWAY done with the purge and I feel like this has been going on forever. I still have 183 items to purge.
Some time ago, my husband stumbled on some old church directories for our parish in the thrift store. He wanted to buy all of them, but I managed to whittle him down to just the most recent one. The reason for this? We wanted to learn some of the names of people from our church that we see all the time. This is what modern-day people use Facebook for. Since Clint and I don't have Facebook, we use older conventions.
I'm purging the directory since we are getting a new one pretty soon. Our pictures will even be in it this time!

When looking for the minature pony photo I also stumbled on this picture of my cat Truffles. I adopted Truffles the year before I moved to KS. Sadly I no longer have Truffles as my parents farmed her out to an old lady who was looking for a friendly cat. :(
