November 17: Deals Galore!

Day 191

This morning I went grocery shopping and it was triumphant. I had been cutting out coupons for a while and combined with the savings from my shoppers card, I saved about $30. It was awesome! The picture below shows some of my best deals.

The laundry detergent was $9. The Eggland's Best Eggs were $2.44. The ground turkey was just $2.25! The butter was on such a good sale that I bought two. It was $3 for a lb. This seemed like a good price to me. The 4-pk of hawaiian roles was just $0.69 and the garlic bread loaf was $1.69 - both from the day-old bread rack. Finally, the large, concentrated Dawn was just $0.99! This was the deal of the century. I've finally come to understand how people become addicted to couponing. At least I didn't buy 75 bags of Jolly Rancher or 60 bottles of body wash just to prove a point, all the things I bought I needed.

My purge today isa collection of poems by Robert Frost. You can see Petie in the background. He loves to lay on our bed and look up at the fan. This can keep him happy for a long time.
