Whenever I travel I make it a point not to buy too much in the way of souvenirs for myself. In Italy I bought myself a pair of earrings and a scarf. In Ireland I bought myself a pair of earrings, a wool sweater....and this T-shirt. The T-shirt was a mistake. It was the proper size on the hanger, but when I washed it, it shrunk up quite a bit. Now it's completely unwearable. Someone else will get to wear my memento.
I want to say a big congratulations to my brother-in-law, Joe, for his recent appointment to the Kansas Board of Regents. It's a huge honor for him to be chosen and we couldn't be prouder!
