I finally convinced Clint to purge another one of the books he dragged home from the library which is about how to build country furniture. I think the designs are a little more labor intensive than he thought they might be. If anyone could build beautiful furniture, I believe my husband could do it, but we simply do not have the time right now. The other day I was telling my sister that I needed some new hobbies and she told me that between working full time and having a house, husband and baby, I was probably busy enough already. Point taken. Doing a little less from time to time might actually be good for me.
So what if the living room is messy or the the floors go unswept for one extra day? If that means I can spend 15 extra minutes with my son or read a chapter of a book or flip through a magazine, it just might be worth it.
