Day 42
As a part of my summer programming at the library, I am doing a series of staycations to nearby towns. Today was the first one. Four ladies and I traveled to an organic lavender farm for a lavender festival. There was lavender food, lavender products, farm tours, demonstrations and live music. We stayed just a couple of hours and we had a great time. The whole farm had a sweet aroma and there were hundreds of people just milling about.

Today my purge is something I didn't even know we had until this morning. A bunch of plastic sacks were accumulating near our front door, so I asked Clint to clear them up today. He said "One of those is for Peter." I picked up a sack and indeed, a child's polo shirt was in one of the sacks. "It came from this guy at work. His dog used to wear it, but then his dog died and he didn't know what to do with it." Obviously, the answer was to give the used, size 4T dog shirt to a four month old baby. Makes complete sense to me.
Peter won't fit into this for at least two years, so I think I'm going to go ahead and pass it along to the thrift shop...though I may try it on Zoey first to see if it fits.
