I've officially been purging items for one month! Only eleven more months to go. I have to say, so far I haven't had to scramble too hard to come up with items to purge. I actually look forward to the challenge each day. It will get harder as the year wears on, but that's the whole point! If it's not hard to purge an item, then it's not really a sacrifice and I'm not really learning to detach myself from material things.
Today's purge is a green shirt that I love. I love the color and I love that it's dressy enough for work. I love the way it fits. In fact, the only thing I do not love about this shirt is the plunging V neck. This shirt has a cowl type neck that should, in theory, prevent any immodesty. However, when I wore it last week, I kept having to readjust the neckline so I'd be covered. I could wear a tank top under the shirt or add a safety pin, but it wouldn't look the same. I have enough summer work shirts, so I'm going to part with this one.
