August 9: Decorative Item Part I

Day 91

We spent a large chunk of the weekend (Friday night to Sunday afternoon) in Ness City with Clint's family. Both Clint's parents have birthdays in August, so we all got together to celebrate. It was one of the nicest visits I've ever had at the farm. The mood was relaxed and casual.

Lunchtime!

Clint's parents are in the final stages of rebuilding/expanding their house out at the farm. Since Clint was little, they've lived in town but they are now getting ready to move back to their farm. The picture above is of their dining room. Most of the kids, Clint's brothers and his mom are in the picture above.

My purge for Saturday was a placard that's been hanging in my kitchen since I moved to Kansas. I decided recently to part with it and its mate, which I'll purge in my next post.
