August 1: Tote Bag

Day 83

Yesterday I went to the thrift store and I found a couple of treasures: a BSC book I didn't have in my collection, the second Diary of a Wimpy Kid book, Dr. Suess's Mr. Brown Can Moo (for Peter) and a pair of Crocs. Not knock-offs, honest-to-goodness Crocs. Clint's wanted Crocs for a long time and he finally settled for some slip-on knock-offs from Wal Mart. When I saw that these Crocs were his size and only $3, there was no way I was leaving the store without them. Clint was so excited. He put them on right away and laughed his happy laugh. Shirtless, in his denim shorts, tall socks and his brand-new Crocs, he was the picture of summer. He wouldn't want me to put that picture on the internet, so I'm posting a picture of the Crocs instead.

Did I mention they've never been worn?

Today I'm purging a tote bag. I just received a new tote bag as a gift, so I'm getting rid of this one. I'll probably donate it, since I don't think anyone should ever have to pay money for a canvas bag.
