Today is my anniversary! I've been married exactly one year and it's been good. I may poke fun at my husband's hoarding tendencies in this blog from time to time, but it's actually one of his endearing qualities. I don't know what I'd do if he suddenly wanted to get rid of everything the way I am sometimes prone to do. He keeps me balanced.
I had a hard time picking out something to purge today, so I finally settled on a brooch. While I don't wear much jewelry now, I went through a phase in my life where I wore a lot of costume jewelry. I have several bedazzling brooches on my dresser and I've selected one for purging that I almost never wear. It's pretty, but it's not my thing anymore.
