I had no idea that when I had a baby, I'd be gifted with so many blankets! I have about a dozen baby blankets of all shapes, sizes and materials. Before Peter was born, I bought a couple of receiving blankets at my local thrift shop and while I like receiving blankets for swaddling, the blankets I purchased are too small for swaddling and therefore are not very useful. I use one of these small blankets in Peter's car seat as a head-prop, but I've decided to purge the other one.
I don't think Peter will mind too much. He looks pretty comfy to me!
