Today was Peter's ear tube surgery and it was one of the less stressful events in Peter's medical history. We were at the hospital at 7 AM and since Peter is so young, we were the first surgery of the day for the ENT. By 7:40, Peter was in surgery and by 8:00 the doctor was back telling us that Peter did great. By 9:30 we were back at home. We are so blessed to have such a resilient and calm little boy. Nothing phases him. We kept quiet all morning, but this afternoon, Peter was raring to go. I can tell that he a) hears better and b) feels better. He's always been active, but it's nothing compared to how hyped up he was this afternoon! This is only a fraction of the mess he created in one afternoon :)
Thank God that everything went well. Today also happens to be the anniversary of Peter's baptism...one year a Catholic Christian!
