Day 348
Yesterday's Earth Day event at the university was awesome. I loved being able to spend a few hours outdoors during my work day! I ran out of mugs and handouts!

Tonight my brother-n-law Matt gave a presentation at our library about his job at the Smokey Valley Ranch, which is owned by the Nature Conservancy. The ranch is 17,000 acres and it is amazing. The earliest evidence of human life in North America was found on the ranch. It was also a stop on the Butterfield Overland Dispatch stage line, the site of several Indian settlements and attacks, and Custer camped there. Not to mention all the cool animals, plants and daily operations of the farm! We had about twenty people at the presentation, which was not too shabby.
My purge today (the last of the baby clothes!)

Matching plaid overalls. Peter wore the grey ones once in our church directory picture. |
