Well meaning relatives keep giving us books. I think this is a problem every parent encounters, but the problem may be particularly bad when you're a librarian. I work in a library where I have access to thousands of children's books for free! It's not that I don't love receiving books, we just have a space issue and I can't keep all of them. I do keep most, but when I have duplicates or different versions of the same story, I will probably purge one. (Please don't let this post discourage any of my family or friends from giving books!)
I'm purging this board book today:
This is my third version of Noah's Ark. The other two versions, one a board book and one a little golden book, are absolutely adorable, but this one is more generic. I think I'll donate this one to church.
